Are you going to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day with your pupils this Friday (March 17th)? If so, you might want to take a look at the presentations from the workshop that took place at the CARLEE yesterday evening. We had the pleasure of listening to a real Irish accent while the speaker Tara Cassidy (IES Pedro de Luna) told us many interesting details about Ireland’s culture. Take a look at her presentation here.

The second part of the session was dedicated to presenting some ideas for teaching pupils (of all ages) about Irish culture and Saint Patrick’s Day. If you want to see the presentation from this part of the workshop, which includes the links to the songs, videos and other websites, then click here . The worksheets that go with some of the activities are also available for infants/primary and for secondary  Here is the link to the Kahoot quiz that we did at the end of the session, if you want to use it in your classes.

We really hope you enjoyed the workshop. Please let us know if you use any of the activities from the session.

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to you all!
